Alec Klein

ALEC KLEIN is an award-winning journalist, playwright and author. His first book, Stealing Time: Steve Case, Jerry Levin, and the Collapse of AOL Time Warner, was an acclaimed national bestseller that is being translated into Japanese, has been published in Chinese and was excerpted in Great Britain. His comedies have been performed in theaters in Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York and elsewhere. Klein, a staff writer for The Washington Post, has won numerous national journalism awards. He previously wrote for The Wall Street Journal, The Baltimore Sun and The Virginian-Pilot. Beast of Love is his first novel. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University, Klein teaches at Georgetown University and guest lectures throughout the country. He was born in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., and lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife, Julie-Ann
