R. Barri Flowers is one of the most prolific and versatile writers on the scene today, as the author of more than forty novels and nonfiction books, along with numerous articles and short stories. His fiction includes thriller novels and contemporary romances, written under the pseudonym, Devon Vaughn Archer. Recent romances include KISSING THE MAN NEXT DOOR, DESTINED TO MEET, CHRISTMAS HEAT and LOVE ONCE AGAIN. His thriller novels include STATE'S EVIDENCE, PERSUASIVE EVIDENCE, and JUSTICE SERVED. JUSTICE SERVED was nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Barri is a proud graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, receiving a B.A. and M.S. in Criminal Justice. He met his beautiful wife, Loraine, on campus, both going on to become writers. Barri is the recipient of the prestigious Wall of Fame Award from Michigan State University's renowned School of Criminal Justice for his outstanding contribution to literature and criminology. He has been interviewed on the Biography Channel, Investigation Discovery, and by ABC News. Barri is a member of the American Crime Writers League, International Thriller Writers, Kiss of Death, Mystery Writers of America, Romance Writers of America, and Sisters in Crime writing organizations. The author makes his home today in the Pacific Northwest, where he enjoys everything from the breathtaking scenery to art galleries to the laid-back atmosphere
