Jane Lovering

Jane Lovering began writing before the midwife had slapped her and has continued despite other people’s attempts to slap her. She lives in North Yorkshire, UK with her partner, bringing up five children in a large, damp mound of ruralness, with four cats, two irrepressible dogs, a repressed horse, guinea-pigs, and various other forms of life, vertebrate, invertebrate and fungal. She writes novels about the ridiculousness of being human (and occasionally non-human) in the desperate belief that this will make her more attractive. Her hobbies include shouting, reading and marshmallows. She has all her own teeth and is available for Bar-mitzvahs and weddings.
