Brandi Broughton

After nearly a decade as an award-winning crime reporter, Brandi turned in her microphone for a laptop. Although her stories are now fictional, they still involve the suspense she experienced while covering real-life murders and other crimes. She does indeed love living a hectic life, but Brandi often seeks serenity in a log home with her own hero of a husband, a very precocious son, and the obligatory pets. She's an avid shooter, bowler, and reader of romance, when she's not writing, editing, designing Web pages, or being a wife and mother. As an RWA Pro author, she's finaled in various writing contests, such as Romance through the Ages and the EPPIES. Her first novel, Lycan Instinct, was an EPPIE finalist in the Romantic Suspense category and a Best Seller at both Fictionwise and Cobblestone Press.
