Amie Stuart | What’s in a Name?
February 1, 2008

Pseudonym: Celia Stuart.

Growing up, Amie Stuart wanted to be a lawyer and a psychologist-obviously she's seen the light, though she never settled down into any career until she started writing. She's worked fast food, as a receptionist, as an office manager (in a daycare - that gets her bonus points), delivered pizza, did a stint at Wally World as a cashier, and was a hairdresser for five years (oh the stories she could tell). And that's just the stuff she got paid to do! She figures all those other jobs were training for the writing gig. That and all those Barbara Cartland romances she cut her teeth on. These days she writes from her home in North Texas while her cats supervise.
