Owen Lafave

Owen LaFave is a commercial real estate lender in Tampa, Florida. He has become an advocate for children since his now ex-wife, former teacher Debra Beasley LaFave, was arrested and pleaded guilty for sexually abusing a 14-year-old student at the middle school where she taught. Owen is currently working on a documentary titled "After School" a Powerhouse Pictures Entertainment Production, examining the alarming trend of female teachers having sex with their students. Mr. Lafave has been interviewed on over 50 news and talk shows since 2004. Many Consider him to be an expert on the subject of teacher/student sexual relationships.
