This led to over 20 years of submitting stories, learning her craft, accepting the rejections but never giving up her dream of being published. That dream came true in January 2006 when she sold her first book to Silhouette Desire. Maxine currently lives in Melbourne, Australia and is delighted to be one of the few Australians to write for the Silhouette Desire line.
