Sarah Salway

Sarah trained as a journalist at the London College of Fashion, and then went into public relations in London, becoming Account Director at Lynne Franks PR in the 1980's. She worked there on Cosmopolitan ,Time Out and the Labour Party accounts, but had most fun relaunching Brylcreem. Sarah then moved to Edinburgh and worked as a freelance journalist for the Scotsman and Daily Express amongst other papers; she was also on the Scottish Council of NUJ, and became a visiting lecturer in Communication Skills with Queen Margaret University College. Sarah teaches with the University of Kent and the University of Sussex. She has a Masters in Writing with Distinction from University of Glamorgan, and is now studying part-time for PhD at Liverpool John Moores University. Sarah is married with two children and a small dog.
