Hale Mednick

Hale was born in New York and grew up in Los Angeles. He spent two years at UCLA. When he tired of big city life, he moved to Santa Cruz and got a BA in theater arts from UCSC. His play and senor thesis was banned and shut down during production because it was too hot for the PC crowd. Since then he has worked as an organic farmer, divemaster, ski and snowboard instructor, substitute teacher, astrologer, writer, filmmaker, theater director and acting teacher. He has travelled to many countries as well. The Twelve Tribes is his first novel. It took seven years to write.
