When the waves of life crash against the shore the most unexpected things can happen. Sometimes waves of change batter against the walls of a house setting high above the rocky cliffs seeking any tiny gap to flow through. Other times they bring help in the form of a long-lost sister and friend who pummels at the door until it finally breaks, letting the tides crashing through and sweep away everything in its path. Those brave enough, grab onto a plank, haul their sis up beside them, then hold on tight to enjoy the wild ride. From the high desert of California to the frozen tundra of Interior Alaska, the sometimes mother, counselor, esoteric astrologer, and full-time student of life, finds adventure wherever the tides take her. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up TK replies, “You mean I have to grow up?”
