William Cope Moyers

William Cope Moyers describes himself as a "kite rising against the wind," and has dedicated his life to helping others feel the same relief of a fresh start. Mr. Moyers, who was an award-winning journalist for 15 years with CNN and newspapers around the world, is currently the director of public policy at the Hazeldon Foundation based in Minnesota. Using his personal experiences with addiction, Mr. Moyers focuses his work on policy issues related to drug and alcohol addiction, treatment and education.
