Dale Carnegie
DALE CARNEGIE, (1888-1955), was a pioneer in public speaking and personality development. He became famous by showing others how to become successful. Carnegie attended Warrensburg (Mo.) State Teachers College, and became a salesman for Armour and Company. Later, he taught public speaking to businessmen. He was born in Maryville, Mo.
