David Saperstein

David Saperstein is best known for having written the original story for the
Academy Award-winning film, Cocoon. In addition to writing and directing
for film and television, Mr. Saperstein has taught film at New York
University, written the lyrics for more than 80 published songs, directed
music videos and television commercials, written the libretti for several
operas, and published several novels. He currently lives in New Rochelle,
NY, and is married with two children.
