Machelle Seibel
Dr. Machelle M. Seibel is a leading expert in women's
health. He is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at
the University of Massachusetts, and Editor in Chief of
Sexuality, Reproduction and Menopause, a journal of the
American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Seibel attended medical school at the University of
Texas Medical Branch and completed his residency at Emory
University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He did a
Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at
Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, he was appointed
Director of the Gynecology Endocrine Laboratory, Director of
In vitro Fertilization, Director of the Fellowship Training
Program and Director of Reproductive Medicine and
Infertility at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical
School. He was a member of the Harvard Medical School
faculty from 1979 until 1997 and Clinical Professor at
Boston University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2001. Dr.
Seibel has conducted many clinical trials and testified
before the FDA.
