Christina Hopkinson

Christina was born in London in 1969 and was educated in Cambridge (school), Oxford (university) and Madrid (nightclubs). After graduating, she worked with words – first in publishing, then in magazine editing and online journalism. Realising that she’d reached a now-or-never time in her career, she resigned from her responsible job and became a receptionist in a law firm in order to be able to write her novel while still getting a small income. That novel became Cyber Cinderella. Over the next year, she got married, got pregnant and got published. She now lives in London with her husband and toddler, and writes health and parenting features for British publications such as the Telegraph and Grazia. She is finishing a second novel, about a woman who chooses to become pregnant by artificial insemination.
