Melissa Boyle Mahle

Melissa Boyle Mahle is a former US intelligence officer and is an expert on the Middle East and counterterrorism. She was one of a handful of women in the CIA who spoke Arabic during her years in the Agency. She received a letter of appreciation from the President for her work on the Middle East peace process. Since leaving the government in 2002, Ms. Mahle has worked as a private consultant on Middle Eastern political and security affairs. She lives in Virginia.
