Mary Schramski

Mary Schramski

Mary started writing when she was ten. The first story she wrote took place at a junior high school, and it was very high drama. Her mother told her it was good, so she immediately threw it away. She read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby when she was eleven. She loved literature and writing so much she decided to teach it, and she earned an English Education degree. One day, she decided to write to become published. Her husband, an ex- fighter pilot, and now an airline pilot, encouraged her to seek publication, and he is her best critic. Her passions are writing, helping writers pursue their dreams, and teaching. Today she holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies/Creative Writing and her daughter is a pharmacist.
