Manning Marable

Manning Marable is Professor of History, Political Science and Public Policy at Columbia University, where he also serves as the founding director of the Institute for Research in African-American Studies. He has published nineteen books, including The Autobiography of Medgar Evers. His column "Along the Color Line" appears in more than 400 publications throughout the United States and the world. He regularly appears on "Today," "Charlie Rose," "ABC Weekend News," Fox Network News, NPR, and the BBC. Marable lives in New York City.
