Romance Western

MY FAVORITE COWBOY is author Donna Grant's third Heart of Texas book. This is Caleb's story and if you remember he and his brother Brice and sister Abby began their journey with THE CHRISTMAS COWBOY HERO. Brice met his lovely wife in COWBOY CROSS MY HEART. They overcame the desertion of their mother, but Caleb has a secret from that night and will never get over her walking away. Or will he find the strength and love he needs and deserves?

Audrey Martinez is a vet devoted to horses and will do whatever it takes to protect the marvelous creatures. She is called in to help a friend who has a horse down and realizes this is no normal illness; someone is out there playing a dangerous game with animals. She has no way of knowing that it will take her knowledge and the strength of a footloose cowboy to save not only the horses but her reputation and maybe her life.

Caleb Harper might wear boots, hat, and jeans just like any other cowboy and his charm is real, but his background in the Army is what truly made this man tough. He's not tough enough to resist Audrey, but he is more than tough enough to protect her from the danger coming her way.

MY FAVORITE COWBOY is a fantastic look into love, life and learning to forgive and move on. Ms. Grant gives her readers a sweet romance that is surrounded with a very realistic sense of everyday life but with an added dangerous situation. In this case, it is believed that Audrey's friend is being attacked via his horses at his auction house. But is that really what the trouble is all about? That is a mystery that you will have to read to find out. I must admit that I am usually pretty good at figuring out the mystery in books, but in this one, I was way off. There is a nice twist in this read that will hold you captivated until the end.

If you want a sexy but troubled cowboy, a feisty and troubled heroine, animals, danger, romance that is sweet and steamy and, of course, a happy ending get your hands on MY FAVORITE COWBOY!

Learn more about My Favorite Cowboy

New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant rounds up the hottest cowboys in Texas in her latest novel of no-holds-barred passion.

Audrey Martinez is a veterinarian who has devoted her whole life to the care and protection of horses―even if doing so leaves her little time for meeting a man. Who would have thought that a strange case of criminal horseplay would lead her to falling deeply, wildly in love? If only the man who makes her heart race faster than a wild mustang would let his guard down, that is. . .

Caleb Harper is no ordinary cowboy. Sure, he wears his hat, boots, and jeans like a second skin, and displays an easygoing charm that comes from years of working on the ranch. But with his military background, and Army buddies at his side, he is tried-and-true Texas tough. Audrey knows she can trust a man like Caleb to help her save horses. But can Caleb trust himself to resist his attraction to Audrey―or will the sparks of their desire end up getting them burned?
