Fox Collins has a great life; he's the owner of the local
newspaper, writer and juggler extraordinaire and even though
he keeps seeing his siblings falling in love he's not ready
for that just yet. Then why can he not get his last
"one-night stand" out of his mind and keep having these
really realistic dreams? Is it just the things that WHISKEY
REVEALS or can he find her and a future?
Melody Waters has arrived at her grandmother's small town
and is ready to settle down. She has learned to live with
the bad decision that led to a horrible crash that lost her
friends and her future as a dancer. She wants to open a
dance studio and begin to live again. Funny how fate can
give you an amazingly gorgeous new beginning and remind you
that you will never get rid of the past all at the same
time. Horrible little things that come back to haunt her
from the crash and she can only turn to one person. The Fox
that haunts her dreams.
WHISKEY REVEALS will have you in its grip from the first
page to the last and you won't want it to end there. I love
this little town and its quaint, homey feel and this
particular family is amazing. When you read and find out
about Melody's past you will understand and sympathize with
her and do just what Fox wants to do protect her and love
her. The first thing he thinks of when he sees she is
distressed is to fix things and her stalker doesn't stand a
chance against his growing feelings. He is close to his
family, loves them and those they have come to love and I
don't think he was even looking for love for himself until
it hit him. They might have found each other and did things
a little backwards but it was still fun to read along as
they figured out what was best for them as a couple. The
sexual tension that author Carrie Ann Ryan brings to her
readers is off the charts for this couple, but so was the
emotion, growing respect and trust and understanding. It was
sad to me that when Melody told Fox of her past the crash,
she actually seemed to believe that he would look at her
differently but was very quickly set straight. His love was
strong and true. Just the way all romance readers want their
hero to be.
If you want a sweet and very steamy romance, with a hint of
danger, family bonding at its best then get your hands on
WHISKEY REVEALS.
One whiskey-saturated night turns into something far more in
the second standalone installment of the bestselling Whiskey
and Lies series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan.
Fox Collins likes his life just the way it is. His siblings
are falling in love all around him, but he'd much rather
focus on his next story than on a serious relationship.
However, when his latest one-night stand returns to
Whiskey-this time for good-he'll need to learn to trust his
instincts to figure out if he can live without her in his life.
Former dancer Melody Waters is finally ready to settle down
in her grandmother's small Pennsylvania hometown. Bad
decisions and fateful nights have changed her path more than
once, but now she's focused on one thing: opening her new
own dance studio. But fate is a funny thing, and once again,
she'll be forced to learn that actions have consequences and
some repercussions can not only change your life forever,
they can also come back to haunt you…one broken promise at a
time.
