SHIFTING MAGICK TRILOGY brings us three short stories
following the lives of three sisters who are cursed and
must find a way to break the curses or end up alone forever.
In MOON CURSE, Olivia, the eldest of the three witches, must
find a male descendant of the moon goddess, Artemis. While
searching for this mythical male she also must watch her
grandmother who they fear has gone bonkers. One evening
planning to cry her way through a chick-flick, Olivia hears
a scratch at her door and outside is an orange cat. She
brings him in, not realizing that a short time later the
answer to her dreams will materialize in the cat's place. It
seems some batty old witch had cursed Sawyer, the Alpha of
the local pack, and now every full moon he becomes a cat -
an orange cat. Is it possible that they can work together
to break both curses?
In MOON KISSED, Audrey has long given up. As the middle
sister she is required to mate with a male kissed by the
gods in order to break her part of the Kelly curse.
Impossible, even for a witch. However, now that her older
sister is mated, she feels some hope. Lucian is her new
brother-in-law's brother and she has been told he might just
be the answer to her prayers. Could it be that simple?
In MOON MATED, Diana, the baby of the family, must find her
true mate before midnight on her thirty-third birthday or
risk the curse striking her as undesirable to everyone but
her family. Though she holds hope the clock is ticking away
and her mate might be too late because Terrence just isn't
sure he wants a mate.
SHIFTING MAGICK TRILOGY is a fun, innovative and sexy read.
Three sisters (and their grandmother) are cursed and
seeking a way to break those curses. Three sexy, alpha
males who happen to be shifters come into their lives with a little help. You
will have to read these books to
find out everything that sweet Gram does to "help" her
girls. The final ending was really sweet and of course all
the girls get their HEA, which is the most important thing
of all.
If you need a quick reading fix then this trilogy is
perfect. The first "book" is only five chapters, the second
is three and an epilogue, and the third is four chapters.
Even this short I found enough character building and
background information, though a bit was left to the
readers imagination, to feel as if I knew these people and
couldn't wait to see what happened to them. There is a lot
of action and emotion packed into those few chapters. This
is the first of author Lia Davis' books I have read and I
look forward to more.
