Melanie felt she had no choice but to quit her job at Rainier Enterprises for a number of reasons. The main one was that she was tired of loving her boss, Rafe, from afar. She also wants to find herself and go on to become an artist the way she always dreamed. She never believed that leaving the corporate world would finally make her HIS TO CLAIM.

Rafe Rainier also has a secret, well really more than one. He was always attracted to Melanie but as her boss that was a no-no. He's also living a double life as a member of the band Savage Kiss and known as Storm. Now that Melanie is no longer in his employ will he be able to move closer to her or will his past, her sweetness and his secondary lifestyle get in his way ... or will she finally become HIS TO CLAIM.

HIS TO CLAIM is a six-part serial combined into one scorching book. I must warn those who find threesomes not to their liking this one has a foursome. That aside, I enjoyed the dynamics of this book ...Rafe learning to become a friend to his brother (you might want to read His To Possess for more details on that particular problem and yes it was a woman), the friendship and closeness with his bandmates and I also liked how he was supportive of Melanie and whatever she wanted to do. And of course the bandmates were all sexy, charming and with unique personalities that made you want to spend a lot of time with them.

My main problem with the story and I admit I reread this book just to double check on this problem and I still couldn't quite get a grasp on Melanie. She seemed determined to live her life her way, but at every turn she was being swayed one way or another then she would switch back.

I also found it a little confusing to have the names Rafe and Storm interchanged so often in the book. I had to stop a couple of times and remind myselt that it was the same person.

All in all, if you are looking for a book that is filled with wild rides, motorcycle and otherwise, and includes a surprisingly considerate love story HIS TO CLAIM is one you will want to try.

SUMMARY

What if you could have everything you’ve always wanted, but it cost you the life you’ve always known?

Rafe Ranier was my boss and secret crush. A rock musician by night and head of a billion dollar empire by day, Rafe could have any woman he wanted. But I was just the shy secretary he never noticed. For years I obsessed over him, until I finally realized I had to walk away. I needed to leave my secure life behind to discover who I really was.

I never expected Rafe to follow me.

Now I’m on the road with his band, Savage Kiss, and all my secret fantasies are coming true. But I fear I’ve made a huge mistake, because if I get any more attached to a man I can never truly have, my heart will be broken beyond all repair.
