One of my all-time favorite authors, Nalini Singh makes a
change of pace and tackles the Contemporary Romance
genre. Starting her Rock Kiss series with Zachery
Fox, the lead singer of the band, Singh doesn't mess
around in her first self-published book. ROCK ADDICTION
has everything you expect from a rock star romance: a
wickedly naughty tattooed hero, a sweet, admirable
heroine and plenty of scorching hot sex! If you add
Singh's brilliant talent as a writer, then you are
guaranteed a good read.
Set in Singh's home country of New Zealand, sweet
librarian Molly Webster finds herself in a car with the
rock star god, heading home to enjoy a wicked night of
fun. Yet the one night stand soon becomes a one-month
stand as neither of them want to stop the adventure that
has just begun. However, Molly makes Fox promise her that
when the one month is up, he must leave and never seek
her out again. The last thing she needs is his fame to
fall back on her as she has already been burned by the
bad side of fame once already.
Long-time fans of Singh need not worry. Much of Singh's
writing stays largely the same but imagine it cranked up
higher. More explicit with the double quantity of sex
scenes, Singh will singlehandedly bring more sexiness to
the world of rock star romance at this rate. I can't wait
to read the rest of the series!
A bad boy wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk… Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction. A one-night stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be… Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…
