Deidre "Foxtrot" Lancaster is used to dealing with the bizarre. After all, as the Administrative Assistant to the very wealthy Zelda "ZZ" Zoransky, Foxtrot is used to dealing with unusual guests, an odd zoo assortment, and whatever else happens to come her way. However, a pet cemetery where talking pets come back to life is strange even for her world! Even stranger, one of the talking pets is her long dead cat, Tango. Foxtrot now finds herself in the midst of a murder mystery with two ghostly animals as her helpful investigators. Will Foxtrot uncover the culprit before there are too many deaths?
I absolutely adore Tango and Tiny, Foxtrot's two ghostly animal companions! Dixie Lyle throws a lot at the reader in this first book but it all fits well into the quite eccentric lifestyle that surrounds ZZ. We meet a variety of ghost animals, or animal spirits, and Dixie Lyle makes each one have a unique voice. Quite honestly, I love the animals far more than the humans in A TASTE FUR MURDER.
A TASTE FUR MURDER is the first in a new series that animal lovers will adore! Dixie Lyle incorporates the best elements of the cozy and paranormal genres to craft a book that is delightfully entertaining and twisted. As a Stephen King fan, I couldn't help but notice the very different twist Dixie Lyle puts on a pet cemetery as A TASTE FUR MURDER is nothing short of fun!
Introducing an animal-loving Gal Friday with a telepathic

chaos handler would be more accurate. Especially after she
glimpses a giant ghost-beast in Zelda’s pet cemetery. For
some strange reason, Foxtrot is seeing animal spirits. And,
ready or not, in this mystery from Dixie Lyle, the fur’s
about to hit the fan…
