Ivy Strom is a demon hunter; she had been born into a
family of them. Now all she has left is her brother Quinn,
and he left her three years ago. Now in search of a killer
demon, who might have answers to where that brother of hers
is, she finds something she had never expected. She finds
herself RELEASING THE HUNTER that she hadn't realized was
there.
Ronan Ames is a cambion; a human with demon blood in his
veins, something not of his choosing and he now has a way
to get his hands on a cure. All he has to do is find Quinn
Strom and get a Key away from him. He doesn't know exactly
what the key is for but to him it is a means to an end. He
certainly had no plans of falling for the beautiful ice
cold demon hunter. Despite his own agenda his heart has a
mind of its own.
RELEASING THE HUNTER is action packed but with a lot of
emotional cache to it that was totally unexpected. Ivy is a
stone cold demon killer but underneath she is still a
woman. Ronan had demon blood forced on him but he is also
still very much human. They are in a word the perfect match
for each other. I enjoyed the sarcasm they shared all the
way to the end. The intrigue was perfect with the right
amount of surprise twists and turns. Author Vivi Anna shows
a variety of characters that add to the flow of the story
with an ending that left you in little doubt that there
will be a second book. If that is the case I will be
waiting to read that one, too. This is a great romance in a
paranormal world.
