Romance Paranormal
The war between the older Gods and the younger Gods is
standing at a hard won cease-fire; giving Dr. Petra
Robichaud time to recoup and prepare for what she knows is
coming. The continuation of a life thrust upon her that
seems like a bad dream with the title of IMMORTALLY EVER
AFTER.
The good doctor has been forced to enlist to fight this war
in a M*A*S*H unit but she is also secretly the one who
speaks to the dead another of the oracle's prophecies.
Among her friends and co-workers is Dr. Marc Belanger
former boyfriend who had returned and a camp full of others
she has grown fond of. Unfortunately it is only Galen of
Delphi who can really make her heart sing, and after only
three fantastic months he was called to duty and gone from
her life.
When Galen returns with an injured woman it is then that
the humans find that the Gods have come up with a greater
danger than even they could imagine. The oracles also have
another prophecy up their sleeves but Petra will do
whatever she has to do to stop this war and free her
people. Even if it means dieing to do it.
IMMORTALLY EVER AFTER is a delightful look into the ancient
Gods and what could be if they really existed. Petra and
Galen are the central characters but there are so many that
make up the M*A*S*H unit and war zone that it could be
confusing but author Angie Fox works it perfectly. You will
laugh at times, hold your breath at others and sigh over
the romance that the characters manage to find time for. At
first I felt a little sorry for Marc but as you read ... and
I don't do spoilers ... you will find he comes out rather
satisfied. This author [Ms. Fox] has a gift for funny and
sizzling storylines that you will not quickly put down.
SUMMARY
The hard-won cease-fire between the battling immortals
doesn’t last long. In the blink of an eye, human surgeon Dr.
Petra Robichaud is back on the frontlines, and starring in
yet another of the oracle’s prophesies. As the only healer
who can talk to the dead, Petra doesn’t have much choice
about her role—even when her breathtaking ex-lover shows up
at exactly the wrong time… Petra may have moved on when Commander Galen left her, but
she never forgot him—and the passionate moments they shared.
Seeing him again is a distraction she really doesn’t need
with both armies honing new weapons, and wounded all over
her M*A*S*H unit. But how can she resist him? It’s now or
never for the demi-god Galen to become Petra’s mate…but with
the fate of humanity at stake, will their desire be worth
the cost?
