Linda Lael Miller returns to her Parable, Montana
series
with BIG SKY WEDDING, the fifth book in the series. Rodeo
cowboy and A-list actor Zane Sutton has had enough of the
Hollywood life. He just left it all behind, and he and his
newly adopted dog Slim are moving to a ranch that Zane and
his brother Landry own. Shortly after Zane arrives in
Montana, Landry calls to tell him that their father has
once again shirked his responsibilities, and Landry is
sending their 12-year-old half brother Nash to stay with
him. Zane isn't happy about this development, but he takes
on the kid who Zane soon realizes just needs someone to be
there for him on a regular basis.
Brylee Parrish is very successful in her professional
life. She has grown her home décor company into a multi-
million dollar business, and work has become the focus of
her life. She's less successful in love. As readers
familiar with the series already know, Hutch Carmody left
Brylee at the altar in Miller's second Parable,
Montana
story Big Sky Mountain. Since then, Brylee has avoided
relationships, choosing to focus on her family and career.
When she and Zane meet, she hates him on sight because she
knows he'll be just like the other Hollywood-types, but as
she sees him with Nash and gets to know him, her opinion of
Zane slowly changes. They share one amazing kiss, and
Brylee must begin to confront the possibility of having
romance in her life again.
Brylee and Zane's romance doesn't really become the focus
of the novel for quite a while. Instead, the great family
and small town storylines take a starring role. They
outshine the romance and are truly the best part of the
story. Miller's extraordinary talent for creating a strong
sense of community is on full display in BIG SKY WEDDING.
She makes us want to be part of the characters' world, and
we get to visit it over and over again in this series.
Once things heat up between Brylee and Zane, their romance
progresses quickly, and their happily ever after is
satisfying if a bit rushed.
The "First Lady of the West," #1 New York
Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller,
cordially invites you to Parable, Montana-where love
awaits.
Wedding bells are ringing in
Parable, Montana, but Brylee Parrish hasn't enjoyed the
sound since being jilted at the altar by Hutch Carmody.
She's over Hutch now, and running a multimillion-dollar
business is challenging enough for this country gal. So she
should avoid falling head-over-boot-heels for A-list
actor Zane Sutton. He's come home to his rodeo roots, but
Hollywood lured him away once and just might again. Yet
everything about him, from his easy charm to his concern for
his young half brother, seems too genuine to
resist....
Zane didn't come to Parable for
love-but count on a spirited woman to change a jaded
cowboy's mind. Problem is, Brylee's not convinced he's here
to stay. Good thing he's determined to prove to her, kiss by
kiss, that she's meant to be his bride.
