FURY OF SEDUCTION begins with Mac having had a very stressful month. This former SEAL and now former Seattle Police Department Detective just learned he's a dragon shifter. He has to figure out all the magic around him and learn to control it as quickly as possible so he can become an integral part of the Nightfuries. This once unknown group of dragon shifters fights the Razorbacks, rogue dragons, and protects the humans and he wants to be part of that team. He just needs to learn to fit in. He earns some respect when Tania Solares is endangered and he jumps in to lead to her rescue. All dragons live off high energy and Tania is very high energy. She doesn't know it but it was her "energy" that saved Mac when he changed to his dragon form. Most dragons don't remember much of that ordeal and Tania's mind was wiped.

Tania Solares has a lot on her plate. Her sister J.J. is in prison for manslaughter but is up for parole, if it can be kept quiet. Things tend to happen in prison when you tick off the wrong people and one of the guards has the hots for Tania, and he's not happy with her brush offs. On top of that she has been pestering the police to help her find her friend Myst who has gone missing; she even did an interview with a reporter complaining about the police and their lack of support. Now in light of J.J.'s possible parole hearing she needs to stop the report from being aired. Anything negative could ruin her chances.

Unknown to Tania, the report has aired and immediately the Nighfuries see danger, if they know she's a high energy then so will the rogues. Mac doesn't understand how he can feel her until Riker, his new XO, explains that she is the reason he survived his conversion it makes sense. What doesn't make sense is how he can feel so much for someone he barely knows. After rescuing her and spending time with her he can't believe his luck in finding someone like her who is perfect for him. Well not quite perfect... she has this trust issue... she doesn't trust anyone especially a man. Is it possible for him to do anything to change that, after all he only wrecked her car, cocooned her in an air bubble underwater and then scared the life out of her by flying her back to their home lair? Yeah, no worries in changing the trust problem.

FURY OF SEDUCTION is fast-paced, action packed book loaded with hunky dragon shifters and the women who love them. The characters are so intriguing with varied personalities belonging to the different team members of the Nighfuries that I couldn't wait to see what happened next. This is filled with guys being guys' storyline with bickering back and forth until one of them or their lady is in danger then they are always right there. If you enjoy the [J.R. Ward's] Black Dagger Brotherhood series you will certainly love this one. I will be looking for the others in this series and hoping for a lot more to come.
