Smart and beautiful 24 year old Vanessa Reynolds is an
army brat who has traveled the world with her widowed
father. All grown and mother of a 6 month old daughter,
Mia, she meets 56 year old Gabriel Salvatora, King of Vaneo,
and is on her way to his palace at the coast for six weeks
in determining if she should accept a proposal of marriage.
Loving him as a friend she is unsettled, contemplating if
she could ever learn to be in love with him. Being met at
the plane by his son, Prince Marcus Salvatora, causes
immediate dislike for both. Marcus views her as a money
grubbing female and she sees him carrying the disdain and
total mistrust he clearly shows for her.
Gabriel is not present when she arrives but away from the
palace attending to his very ill sister-in-law who was there
to help them through their grief when his wife died 8 months
previously Asking Marcus to "entertain" her until he can
arrive back home soon teaches Marcus how wrong he has been
about Vanessa. Never feeling the passion and sizzle
with Gabriel, she is astounded to experience that rare
phenomena every time she is near Marcus. Finally giving
into their denied passion, it is soon apparent it goes
deeper for both than just the fiery sex. Unable to crush
Gabriel's hopes and possibly destroy the father-son
relationship, Vanessa will refuse any offer of marriage and
go home to LA. Both hearts breaking over the only option,
surprising information coming from Gabriel upon his return
turns everything inside out.
PRINCESS IN THE MAKING, an exotic tale is a passionate love
story of genuine
caring for their families and positions in life for which
they are each responsible. Willing to give up on a once in
a lifetime love to preserve the love of family is
heartbreaking. I truly enjoyed this warm and loving tale
which kept me glued to every line. PRINCESS IN THE MAKING
is a definite page
turner you won't regret reading. I have not had the
pleasure of reading any other works by this author but I
will definitely seek them out in the future.
He was only supposed to tempt Vanessa Reynolds away from her
plot to become queen. The pretty, single mother may believe
she's going to marry his father, but Prince Marcus Salvatora
will do everything in his power to prevent a royal marriage.
Yet befriending the lovely American and her adorable baby
girl has the debonair bachelor awash in confusion. This
woman and her child are not schemers. In fact, they could
make his life complete. But once she leaves without a
wedding ring, the powerful prince knows he'll be forbidden
to ever truly make her his own.
