"Captivating thriller even as love is discovered"

Anna Mendes, a/k/a Anna Perez is undercover for the
Sterling Security & Investigations posing as a nanny for 5
year old Spencer Keene. Carter Keene, a movie director and
his actress wife Tawny have received threatening notes
endangering Spencer. Annie brings Spencer to join his parents who are filming a
horror movie using Beau Soleil, a mansion owned by Picou
Dufrene as the backdrop. There Annie immediately notices
that one of Picou's sons, Nate, is a tall, long and sexy
drink of water. Nate is also a police officer.
Nate and his family have suffered their own tragedy when 5
year old Della was kidnapped and murdered 20 years ago.
Nate believes it was his fault and has carried the guilt
ever since for his sister's death. Picou has never given
up hope that Della is still alive. When Spencer goes missing Nate is called in. Even though he
is found in the home, this alerts everyone his life is
still at risk. Other threatening notes are appearing at the
mansion and every friend, co-worker and family member of
the Keene's is suspect. Annie and Nate desperately work to uncover the culprit.
Delving into the possibility it's someone on the movie crew
holding a vengeance against Carter or Tawny, they attend a
party at a night club, hoping that someone will stand out
among the crew. What Annie doesn't expect is she and Nate
getting caught up in a passion that ends in hot frantic
sex; minus a condom, under the outside tiki bar. Both are
shocked they have allowed their horniness to override
common sense; they are now in fear of a possible pregnancy. The throes of passion between Annie and Nate are soon
recognized for more than just physical attraction but
neither believes it can become lasting. WATERS RUN DEEP is full of suspense and mystery with hot
searing sex thrown in. Spencer will steal your heart as the
feisty but loveable little boy whose life is in danger. Be
prepared to feel the deep sorrow and pain inflicted upon
Nate and his family at the loss of a small child. Duty soon
becomes real love for the child Annie is responsible for. I cannot wait to read the next story of the Dufrene family
and Beau Soleil! WATERS RUN DEEP is extremely well written
and will grab your attention from the get go!
SUMMARY
This is starting over...not putting down roots
Getting attached to someone nearly sidelined agent Annie
Perez's career. So she's not about to make the same mistake
twice. This latest undercover assignment in Louisiana-
acting
as nanny for a famous couple under threat-suits her
perfectly. She can investigate quietly and under the radar.
That is, provided she can stay clear of way-too-suspicious
detective Nate Dufrene. Easier said than done when Nate seems to be around every
corner. And with each encounter, Annie is tempted a little
more by this son of Bayou Bridge. Yet regardless of their
chemistry, they are worlds apart, and she's not willing to
compromise for love again. But when she needs an ally, Nate
has her back. And that could convince her to get very
attached!
