Romance Contemporary | Romance Suspense

Being an investigative private detective allowed the handsome ex-cop, Carl Hades, to live his bad boy image. Hired by the owner of an elite wedding planning services firm, Carl was on his way to meet her to find out why some of her recent clients were going MIA before their weddings. Before he gets a chance to find out who Tabitha Jones suspects is the killer, he winds up locked in a cold and dark cellar with a beautiful redheaded soon-to-be- bride, freaked by what she has just seen.

Despite all the conversations that she had with big white ears as a result of her heaving stomach every time she thought about her upcoming wedding and the fact that she had inadvertently flushed away her $8,000 engagement ring, Katie Ray adamantly refused to accept these clear signals that Joe was not the perfect man for her. But, once snuggled in the warmth and safety of Carl's soft brown jacket, Katie finds herself turned on by this handsome PI. While cuddling in the dark for warmth, Katie worms out from Carl that this macho man has a frou-frou dog and she finally lets in the doubts. Did she really just have the usual "cold feet" jitters or could someone else give her that "great sex" look in her eyes that her best friend, Leslie Grayson, was always going on about?

Coming back to Texas from Boston for Katie's wedding, Les was having her own bittersweet time. While happy to see her family and friends, she had never gotten over the death of Mike, Katie's brother and her special love. That is, until she met a handsome man in a bar while waiting for Katie, and he gave her the "wow and zing" in her heart she had been missing. How was she to know that this was Joe -- the man that her best friend was going to marry?

Christie Craig is sure to have a smashing success on her hands with WEDDINGS CAN BE MURDER. It is a lighthearted, suspenseful romance of finding just the right person to lick wedding cake samples with! Laced with lots of sexual banter, amusing family members with their own views on marriage and secrets to hide and a psycho bride-seeking murderer on the loose, this romantic thriller is sure to captivate! If nothing else, you'll never think about doing the dishes in the same way again!

SUMMARY

Till Deaths Do You Part...

Katie Ray was about to marry a man she didn't love--and who didn't love her. Even losing her $8,000 engagement ring wasn't enough of a sign to call things off. What did it take? Being locked in the closet with a sexy PI, and being witness to murder.

Or They Bring You Together

Carl Hades hardly wanted to be shackled with another man's soon-to-be wife, especially when the gorgeous redhead stirred emotions he'd avoided for years. He'd been hired by an elite Houston wedding planner to investigate some missing brides. When those brides turned up dead, Carl saw where the whole situation was headed: just like Katie's wedding ring and ceremony, right down the toilet. Because, while Katie was suddenly and delightfully available, he had a feeling she was next in line to die. And before he could ask her to say "I do," he had to know who would say "I did it."
