Romance Contemporary

Amanda Rykowsky is a woman with a plan. A soon-to-be psychologist, she's going to finish her internship with sex therapist Dr. Gloria Tredway then head to graduate school in Boston. Between studying, bartending and her internship, there's no time left for socializing.

Stockbroker William Sloan wants to get to know this beauty better, especially after an encounter in the stairwell of the office building where they both work. Amanda has just returned from her latest errand for her boss with a sack full of sex toys and videos that breaks open, spilling its contents for William's perusal. He insists on helping her carry her purchases to her office. Unfortunately for William, over-sexed sex therapist Gloria is taken with his nerdy persona and determined to have him. Gloria seeks advice from Amanda on how best to snare the unsuspecting stockbroker.

When Amanda begins receiving anonymous cards and chocolates from a secret admirer, she's sure the sender is William. William knows he's not the sender and suspects there's a darker motive behind the gifts. His protective instincts aroused, William suggests acting as her boyfriend, hoping this will throw off Amanda's admirer, as well as the aggressively suggestive Gloria. It isn't long before the fake relationship becomes something more explosive, bringing Amanda's stalker out into the open.

MY NERDY VALENTINE is the latest installment in Thompson's Nerd series, and this is one of her finest. Chockfull of humor and sexy banter, readers will laugh aloud throughout. Amanda and William are fun together, Gloria is hilariously outrageous and the story is pure entertainment. Fans are going to love this Nerd!

SUMMARY

Aspiring psychologist Amanda Rykowsky’s schedule is certifiable. Between study, bartending, and an internship with a sex therapist whose techniques would make a Playboy bunny blush, there’s zero time for romance. Still, Amanda is flattered to receive an anonymous Valentine…until the messages take a sinister turn.

Stockbroker William Sloan swears he’s not the one sending Amanda cards, but he suspects the culprit’s intentions are more dubious than sharing a box of Godiva. Something about gorgeous, determined Amanda brings out the usually reserved William’s inner he-man, and he insists on acting as a decoy boyfriend.

With a fake relationship masking some very real lust, it’s only a matter of time before William and Amanda give in to the sweetest of temptations. And once he’s dealt with her secret stalker, William’s next mission is to strike Amanda with Cupid’s arrow….
