    Romance Paranormal

    ROCKED

Daphne Forbes always knew the world was an odd place. Unlike most CPAs, she grew up the daughter of a druid. Unlike her father, she eschewed the supernatural. But magic was coming to trip her up. In the form of an enchanted cornerstone, it was set to knock Daphne's socks off--or at least one of her shoes--and the rest of her clothes were soon to follow.

Magic filled Daphne, empowered her, shifted her shape and raged wild as a summer storm. Enter Tremayne. Whether the tormented newcomer was truly her guardian or something more sinister, one thing he wanted was clear. Daphne wanted him, too. She had spent her whole life with control but little power; this was just the opposite. She was suddenly between a magic stone and...someplace harder. And we're not (just) talking about Tremayne's abs.

Re: Between A Rock And A Heart Place

    This series sounds really intriguing!

If I could transform? Probably a cat. Sounds weird, but they get attention, they're playful and fur is warm when its 6 degrees out

I would have to say a lion - king of the jungle, you know?
    (
    Lisa Freeman 9:37am February 24)

Thanks, Virginia! Weird or not, I have to agree on cat*eg*.

Lisa, a lion would be cool. Really. (Making a note.)

I would transform into a dolphin, I love the water and swimming!
    (
    Teresa Warner 11:35am February 24)

If I could transform, I would like to transform into a big cat like a tiger or a jaguar.
    (
    Crystal Broyles 12:25pm February 24)

I not sure what I would to transform into, but there has been a time or two that I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall so I would know what was being said in a few meetings. It would be nice to be a cat and get loved on all the time.

    Gail Hurt 12:41pm February 24)

I think I would like to be a dragon...it would certainly get attention:).
    (
    Robin McKay 1:30pm February 24)

I would transform into a bird, a very large bird. Then I would have the freedom to travel all over and poop on bad people...
    (
    Susan Galley 1:43pm February 24)

A dolphin! What a great idea. Another vote for big cat . . . fly on the wall sounds really great*g* . . . dragon would be so cool . . . and lol, Susan! These are great!
    (
    Natale Stenzel 5:18pm February 24)

    I would be a wolf.
    (
    Stacey Smith 6:13pm February 24)

Well, you didn't say I was limited to one so....I would transform into any animal I needed! :)
    (
    Michelle K 6:49pm February 24)

    A tiger or a wolf.
    (
    R. Billingsley 7:00pm February 24)

Decisions, decisions...I too like the fly on the wall idea. Eagles hold a special place in my heart, so either an eagle or a chihuahua. My chihuahua is so loyal and faithful.
    (
    Kay Martinez 8:30pm February 24)

I'd have to go with a tiger.
    (
    Stacy Schooler 9:07pm February 24)

Hi Natale - Your books sound fun! Hard decision but for a temporary shift I think I would go with a hawk so I could fly!!
    (
    Martha Eskuchen 9:43pm February 24)

Ooh, a wolf is always good -- canine family and yet undomesticated. Michelle, I'm with you; flexibility is so useful*eg*. Loving the tiger still and the fly on the wall . . . eagle is impressive*g*. Chihuahua could actually be downright hilarious (had a visual of the Taco Bell dog for a minute) . . . and very resourceful, actually. Hawk would also be intimidatiating -- predatory and yet aristocratic. Great choices.
    (
    Natale Stenzel 9:54pm February 24)

A dolphin. They move with such ease and
    joy.
    (
    Seung-Ju Ahn 10:20pm February 24)

    A wolf...have always loved them.
    (
    G. Bisbjerg 11:21pm February 24)

I would be a cat....simply because I love cats...they are playful and loving with a dash of arrogance.
    (
    Rowena Huser 8:25am February 25)

I think I'd like to be an Eagle. I'll get to fly and I wouldn't really be a weak bird after all;-)
    (
    Mona Hassan 12:23pm February 25)

I would want to be invisable, I can just THINK of all the mischief I could get into...Payback on troublemakers? Oh Yeah ;)
Animal? definitly a cat because they're sooo cute & non threatening (Mwahahaha)
    Mindy :)

I'm thinking that there are so many things to transform into depending on the who, what, when and where.
    (
    Laurie Peterson 6:26pm February 25)

I would want to be a tiger..wild and free (as long as it was temporary)..I would like to be able to try a lot of different animals...just to see the world through their eyes.
    (
    Kimberley Coover 8:47pm February 25)

I think I'd like to be a mule. They are well fed, get by with being stubborn and they quit when they get tired.
    (
    Mary Falls 9:03pm February 25)

I agree with the cat. Our cat can get into places that we never thought it could.
    (
    Karin Tillotson 10:03pm February 25)

I'd go with a feline also but probably a jaguar or panther. So much sleek power!
    (
    Lynda Smith 11:41pm February 25)

Too hard to choose just one...an Eagle for flying....a Dolphin or an Otter for water and a Cheetah for running. Can you just imagine the fun until it was time to eat.*g*
    (
    Ruby Davis 1:21am February 26)

I would pick a panda bear because they are so cute.
    (
    Katy Yule 11:02am February 26)

A dragon, the ability to fly and create fire. Can you imagine the damage I would cause ;)
    (
Ann Marie Brown 11:34am February 26)

You all are giving me the itch to write another shape-shifter*g*. Thank you so much, everyone, for participating. And thank you again to Fresh Fiction for having me here!
    (
    Natale Stenzel 3:49pm February 26)

A black panther would be cool.
    (
    Halona Skaggs 7:42pm February 26)

Me if I truly had a choice It would be an Elephant, or a Panther.
    (
    Ann w 10:12pm February 26)

I think I'd have to go with the tiger
