David Andrews

David Andrews

David Andrews began writing romance as a way to relax from a 24/7 career and found it an enjoyable escape, especially after winning first prize in two national competitions and a five book contract with an Australian publisher. Life beyond a professional career suddenly seemed possible and Amy Gallow was born at the publisher’s insistence. Fourteen published stories later, he has written paranormal, historical and contemporary romance, historical fiction and magazine stories, without losing one iota of the zest that triggered the end of a professional career. A film rights contract for one book has grown into the shooting of a promotional trailer for the full length feature film.

David finds it fascinating to see figments of his imagination become living, breathing individuals—even if they look nothing like the mind pictures that drove their creation. The First-Born is his first title under his own name.
