Robert Logan

I grew up in Glassboro N.J. which is in south Jersey just outside of Philadelphia. After graduating from Glassboro High School in 1983, I worked in the construction industry as a pipe foreman and Superintendent mostly throughout the 80's and early 90's. In 1996, I graduated tech school with a degree in computer programming and made a career change. A few years later, I was offered a job in Miami, FL. It was a no-brainer to accept the position and move the family out of the cold northeast and into the warm sunny weather of South Florida. In 2000 I accepteda position as a software developer for a retail software company in Delray Beach, FL and have been working there ever since. I presently live in Coral Springs, FL. and thoroughly enjoy all that sunny south Florida has to offer. Great weather, sunny beaches, golfing, and of course fishing in the Keys - all year round. Life is good.

I began writing several years back when I would take my kids tent camping. It all started with me telling my kids campfire stories that I would just make up as I went along. I would scare the crap out of them with these made up stories - and they just loved it. Eventually, I would write them out and store them on my computer. That gave me the idea of making notes about stories that I thought would make a good book. Finally in April of 2010, I sat down at my computer during my spare time and began outlining my first novel. The more I elaborated on this story outline, the more I became obsessed writing nights and weekends. After editing and re-editing for months "In Dreams" was born. My first manuscript complete.

I joined the Florida Writers Association in 2011 and it was at their annual convention that I met with The Peppertree Press, a book publishing company. Julie Ann Howell, the publisher, was great to work with. They took my manuscript and turned it into a masterpiece.
