Garnet Lacey is a retired witch who's about to fall off the
wagon. Having called into herself a Goddess named Lillith
who refuses to stay on the sidelines, Garnet needs to stay
alert at all times so Lillith won't decide to kill anyone
while Garnet is blacked out. When sexy Sebastian Von Traum
steps into the occult bookstore where Garnet works and is
hiding out from those who are out to get her, life goes
from interesting to excitedly dangerous.
Sebastian doesn't have an aura. That means he's dead. He
needs something special ordered to keep him from being
really dead. Garnet can help, but in the meantime, Lillith
discovers Sebastian's secret and wants it for herself.
Garnet falls for Sebastian, but Lillith makes her do things
that Sebastian may not forgive. And because of her actions,
those who hunt Garnet know where she is.
I really enjoyed Garnet's spunk and all the characters'
witty dialogue. The story reads quickly and held my
attention throughout. TALL, DARK & DEAD is a delight for
the night.
A delightful new comedy about witches, vampires, and the
search for the perfect man.
Recovering witch Garnet Lacey manages Wisconsin's premier
occult bookstore. And a fringe benefit of the job is getting
customers like Sebastian Von Traum-piercing brown eyes, a
sexy accent, and a killer body. The only thing missing is an
aura. Which means he's dead. And that means trouble.
So what's a girl to do if she's hot for a dead man walking?
Run like hell-and take full advantage of the nights.
