Grace Sheridan has just scored the lead in a new TV series
and she is steadily seeing the Sexiest Man Alive, Jack
Hamilton. Though they wish to their relationship out of the
public eye and avoid being photographed by the paparazzi,
the both of them are finding it harder to maintain a low-key
lifestyle. In addition to that, Grace's people have asked
her to lose a few pounds for the show, a new struggle that
will have Grace watching everything she eats. As she gains
more fame, she wonders if it's her lifestyle or her talent
that is getting people to notice her.
Alice Clayton's signature humor is front and center in this
novel. Outrageous humor and upbeat banter keep the third
book in the Redhead series a light and fluffy read. Clayton
seems to really excel at dialogue. Jack and Grace's
conversations are much like a championship ping pong game --
you can get whiplash from how quick-witted they volley back
and forth. Because of this, I think readers find their
characters to be very relatable and easy to like. Jack and
Grace simply ooze charisma.
As Hollywood and movies are the major theme of this series,
if I had to categorize this book, the Redhead series
feels
like a Romantic Comedy movie. Humor and Romance have a big
emphasis and a good time will be had by all!
THE REDHEAD PLAYS HER HAND contains charm and belly aching
laughter to the extreme. With charismatic characters that
will light up the big screen, you can be sure that when you
pick up a Alice Clayton book, you'll be reading a
Blockbuster hit!
The third sexy novel in USA TODAY bestselling author Alice
Clayton’s playful and erotic Redhead series continues the
sizzling romance between actress Grace Sheridan and
Hollywood’s hottest leading man Jack Hamilton.
Grace has landed the lead in a new TV series—but when the
director asks her to lose fifteen pounds, she goes public
with her weight struggles and suddenly develops a huge fan
club who support her right to have curves. But between that
and the public’s continuing fascination with her “are they
or aren’t they” relationship with Jack, Grace begins to
wonder if anyone’s really interested in her because of her
upcoming TV series, or if it’s all speculation about the
size of her ass and her bedroom partner.
Meanwhile, Jack is voted the Sexiest Man Alive and becomes a
little too enamored with the party-hard lifestyle. Grace
vows to give him the space he needs to find himself, but
then he begins to spiral down from lovable Brit to Hollywood
brat. People are talking, but are Jack and Grace? Her career
is on the rise, and his continues into the stratosphere, but
will she be able to catch him if he falls? Will they ever be
able to just be a couple who can hold hands when they walk
down the street?
