No one could have ever imagined that Zombies or Freaks as
they are called would take over the world, especially a
group of young adults who must battle their way to safety.
Kendra Brookings and her friends have traveled a long way
and fought to the point of exhaustion looking for a safe
haven they heard about in their travels. They find it at
Threadville where all the inhabitants are bite free from
the outbreak that created the freaks. Here they find food,
housing, clothing and so much more to make life
comfortable.
Kendra and the others have longed for the
chance of some type of normal life which they believed they
have found in Threadville. Unfortunately it soon becomes
apparent that something is not right in the compound as
young women have disappeared and no one is concerned or at
least they are pretending they're not. During her
investigation Kendra discovers there is something worse
going on in the compound but can she convince the others
before it is too late.
DOMINO FALLS contains a mixture
of horror and fantasy that will appeal to fans of either
genre. Certain sections are vividly described in such
detail that I felt every emotion the characters experienced
especially the fear of who might not survive. An intricate
plot which will keep readers enthralled while wondering who
is responsible.
It began on Freak Day—that day no one could explain, when strangers and family members alike went crazy and started biting one another. Some thought the outbreak was caused by a flu shot, others that it was a diet drug gone terribly wrong. All anyone knew is that once you were bitten and went to sleep, you woke up a freak.
