Romance Paranormal | Romance Historical

On a mission of vengeance in seeking the final piece of the Dragon Chalice, Randwulf of Greycliff is set upon by a shape-shifter while traveling to Scotland. Washed up on the beaches of the storm-tossed Northern England shores, Rand is discovered by Serena, a young woman with the gift of Knowing. Forbidden by her mother to help the stranger, Serena finds she cannot stay away from Rand and returns to the beach in the morning, only to discover he's gone. Saddened by the thought that the man was washed back to sea, her feelings change when Rand returns and follows her back to her home, sure the women have taken the piece of the chalice he carried with him.

Denying knowledge of what happened to the chalice, Selena and her mother, Calandra, tend Rand's wounds, eager to have him gone from their secluded home and back on his journey. While searching the woods near the cottage, Rand finds evidence of poachers. When Selena takes him to the nearby town of Egremont, tales of shape-shifters are being told, and Rand knows his nemesis, Silas de Mortaine, is near. Determined to protect Selena, Rand makes a deal with the holder of his missing piece of chalice and begins the final part of his quest.

Tina St. John has crafted a most satisfying conclusion to her Dragon Chalice trilogy. Rand's transformation from vengeance-seeking warrior to protector of the woman he loves is heart-wrenching as he lets go of his past to embrace his future. Selena is at turns fearful of the unknown past and future and powerful and strong in her determination to protect her loved ones. Unexpected alliances and a few surprising twists make HEART OF THE DOVE a story you'll savor through to the final page!
