"'Rhett and Electra-Djerroldina - what a pair!"

Rowena Cherry's wicked sense of humor has me coming back to
her books over and over again. I laugh and I cry and I
laugh some more. Such as it was with this one, the third
book in her alien romance series. KNIGHT'S FORK is an
excellent addition to her out of this world chess series! We meet 'Rhett in Forced Mate. He is Djinni's brother
and
has already been propositioned by Electra-Djerroldina,
Tarrant-Arragon's sister once before. These books are
comedy of errors and all of the characters are interwoven
with each other. In some way, shape or form they are all
related much to the detriment of each other. Now Tarrant-Arragon has decided that he must get 'Rhett and
Electra-Djerroldina together by themselves for a time in
order to see what may transpire but there are things that
Tarrant-Arragon does not know. One very important thing
has to do with Electra-Djerroldina's tigers and the other
has to do with her husband. Oh the things that transpire while 'Rhett and Electra-
Djerroldina are en-route to Earth to try to find more
princesses, it boggles the mind. As much as I enjoyed
reading this book, I anxiously await the next in the
series!
SUMMARY
"Carpe Scrotum. Seize life by the testicles."
The Queen Consort of Volnoth needs a sperm donor, and only one
green-eyed god has the right stuff. Little does she know
that she has
pinned her hopes on the loins of the fabled Royal Saurian
Djinn. Not
only is her the son of her greatest enemy, but he has taken
a vow of
chastity.
The Saurian Knight is caught between a
father who has all the moral integrity of a Mafia Don, and a
married
princess who will stop at nothing to have his seed in her
belly. No
matter which way he turns, he is "forked".
Taking the
wrong lover, in the wrong place, at the wrong time is
dangerous. And
when the High and the Mighty intervene, it can be fatal. Can
true love
and a pure White Knight's virtue triumph, when society loves
a right
royal scandal?

As a reviewer, I picked Knight's Fork as a TOP PICK for Paranormal Romance Reviews. As an author, I recognize Cherry's very unique talent, clearing staking out her spot in this very competitive genre. And a reader I simply enjoy her books and look forward to more in this smartly written, humorous series. (Deborah Macgillivray 5:29pm November 6, 2008)
