Mystery Amateur Sleuth

Erin Gilbert and Steve Sullivan are not your typical interior designers. The yin and yang of decorating, these two combine both of their eclectic styles to create what everyone in Crestview wants... a fabulous room that is the envy of all their neighbors! When the opportunity arises to make-over the town's celebrity chef and his artist wife's home, Sullivan & Gilbert decide to step out of the box and engage in a feng shui inspired creation. What's not to like about a supposedly harmonious environment where the heavens and earth coexist giving off positive energy? If only it were that simple! As tension starts to mount between their client and the overzealous neighbor next door, Sullivan & Gilbert do their best to play peace-maker. Before they know it, the tranquil home they are trying so hard to create becomes somewhat of a disaster area as tempers start to flare! Within a blink of an eye, their house of sticks slowly starts to fall while at the same time the dollar signs to fix the mess quickly start to rise. It doesn't help the situation when it's revealed that the new foreman on their job is mysteriously connected to Erin and that the sexy, hot designer next door has her eyes set on Steve. Somehow, things just aren't working out as Erin and Steve had planned.

As the two quirky designers do their best in the damage control department, dead bodies literally start messing up their design. Who is the mastermind determined to sabotage Sullivan & Gilbert's latest creation? And what makes Erin such a magnet for murder and mayhem? With some unconventional sleuthing techniques up her sleeve, can Erin ultimately find the killer before she winds up his or her next target? Only the stars know and unfortunately for Erin, they're not telling! FATAL FENG SHUI is the fifth installment of Leslie Caine's A Domestic Bliss Series. With each novel, Caine brings a fresh voice with lots of zany characters and insightful decorating tips to keep her plot moving along and her readers humorously entertained. As expected, Caine's latest novel is a decorator's dream.

SUMMARY

Wallpaper, love, and other deadly ideas…

Once they were competitors. Then they became partners. Now interior designers Erin Gilbert and Steve Sullivan wish they’d never gotten involved in a feng shui—inspired makeover–of a home owned by a celebrity chef and his wife, a famous artist with an
infamous artistic temperament. Gilbert and Sullivan are all for feng shui, the Chinese art of harmonious design. But this time Gilbert and Sullivan know they are facing more than bad vibes. An attic erupts in flames. The death of a carpenter strikes Erin too close to home, while a dangerous beauty wants to get much too close to Sullivan. Erin finds herself left on her own with her best-made plans, her worst fears, and someone whose design is to kill her
