Romance Paranormal
Sarah Dearly is a recently turned vampire thanks to a bad
blind date. She's learning the ropes from a multiple-
century-old master vampire, Thierry, who also happens to be
her new boyfriend. He's a little aloof and Sarah does not
understand why. While out for a run, a vampire hunter tries to take her
out. Sarah isn't much of a fighter and nervousness turns
her into quite the talker. When Sarah tries to talk the
hunter out of killing her, she lets it slip that her
boyfriend is none other than Thierry. The hunter calls
Sarah the Slayer, cowers and begs her not to kill him.
Sarah is perplexed by his actions, but nonetheless
extremely happy he's decided not to kill her. She goes
along with his comments and lets him know that she'll let
him live for now. Later, Sarah learns that she has a bit of a reputation. She
is known as the Slayer of Slayers because she shot and
killed the last vampire hunter, a well-known hunter, who
was trying to kill her. She was just protecting herself. Thierry wants Sarah to let the reputation stand. He's heard
that the hunters' leader is on his way to town to kill her.
He also wonders if her reputation will bring the vampire
council to town. Thierry thinks they'll have a good chance
of killing this lethal vampire hunter. Quinn is a newly turned vampire. A vampire hunter before
being bit, he knows the lethal tracking skills of the
hunters' leader. He does not like Thierry using Sarah as
bait. Quinn is attracted to Sarah and she thinks he's good
looking. He plans to teach her self-defense before she
becomes dust at the hands of the hunters. One thing leads
to another and soon they're lip-locking. Sarah's timing
being what it is, Thierry decides to show up just as Quinn
has her pinned on the floor. Thierry decides to leave town. Sarah decides to fight for
his love and to get herself out of this strange
predicament. She doesn't know how, but she just might save
the day. Sometimes a woman has to do what she has to do. Michelle Rowen has wittily penned a vampire novel
with a delightfully endearing heroine. FANGED & FABULOUS is
a cute story that's sure to make you chuckle.
SUMMARY
My name is Sarah Dearly, and I've got major problems. Last
month, I was turned into a vampire by the world's worst
blind date. Then I may have, totally by accident, started
a war between the mostly peaceful bloodsuckers and a bunch
of sociopathic vamp hunters who have nicknamed me the
Slayer of Slayers. Now I'm being used as bait to draw out
the hunters' bad-ass leader, while my gorgeous 600-year-
old boyfriend Thierry seems to be blowing me off, and my
sizzle-hot, fanged friend Quinn is trying to turn my self-
defense lessons into make-out sessions. So you know what?
I'm done. I've had it. There comes a time when a vamp has
to just suck it up and go after what she wants. And as
soon as I figure out what that is, that's exactly what
I'll do...
