DAISY SETS OUT TO FIND THE IDEAL MAN WITH HER TALKING, ALCOHOLIC CAT.

Daisy will turn 40 in eleven months and is about to roll down a hill - more like be thrown under a bus by her five sisters, mother, and aunt. Why? Because Daisy is single, never married. Her family figures Daisy is a loser because she is still in college trying to avoid paying off her student loans which have amassed over 22 years of a miseducation. And all Daisy has is a cat to keep her company.

Daisy fears turning into a woman who sits without a shawl around her shoulders because her cat is keeping her warm. Her nightmare is of becoming a cat lady, one of those with cat fur seeping through her veins, making men sneeze and vacuum their clothes whenever she approaches. To make the crises worse, her cat begins giving Daisy dating advice, when she is sober!

Even more bizarre, the cat is speaking with a British, cockney, masterpiece-theater criminal accent because his name is Shakespeare. The cat even quotes the dead William Shakespeare as if he is speaking with hairballs stuck in his throat. Daisy just wishes she had her cat's confidence.

The mess of Daisy's life is even kookier because the cat is giving her dating advice.
