Hey Kay, the Shadowmen have a higher body temp that a mortal, so man oh man can they keep you warm. LuAnn, there's good vamps and bad vamps but my Shadowmen et al don't find that out until Bride of the Wolf. The've only met bad vamp until then because it is the bad one after them. Rachael, Natasha, and Gail thank you! Hope you enjoy the Shadowmen Heat Wave. Alyson, in my series there are a few mortals who have what is known as elan blood, a blood with a special protien in it that revitalizes a vampire for months and it is the sweetest to taste. In order to put two out together I had to wait that long on the schedule. I have more books planned that I will get out to readers somehow even if these don't sell as well as my publisher needs to continue with it.!
