Romance Suspense
For art recovery agent Avy Hunt, no task is too risky when
it comes to rescuing stolen treasures. Her latest mission
is to locate the multimillion-dollar Sword of Alexander,
believed to be in the possession of master thief Sir Liam
James. But there is far more to this heist than meets the
eye, and what Avy doesn’t know can definitely hurt her. In hot pursuit of the sword, Avy crosses the Atlantic to
keep charming, sexy Liam under surveillance—only to find
that he has been trailing her. It’s hard to focus on the
prize when they’re both overwhelmed by sexual tension. Now
Avy is going to have to make the toughest choice of her
career: Get her hands on the sword, or take her chances
with a thief. "A sexy, riveting read!" New York Times Bestselling

Re: Take Me If You Can
My perfect birthday would being blessed with the ability to blow hundreds of dollars on new books, but that hardly ever happens because responsibility wins out. Other than that, being w/the people who make me smile gives me the best rewards. (Meredith Link 6:02pm August 31, 2008)
Hi Sandi,
Good blog. Sorry I never got to read last weeks.
Belated Happy Birthday. I am so behind on everything due to moving. What a process!
My perfect birthday would be dinner with my daughters & grandchildren. We are very rarely all together. One daughter lives nearby with her son, the other daughter & her family live in another state. More would be indulging in favorite food and going to the coast. (Donna McClure 11:36pm August 31, 2008)
Meredith, I have a great friend who supplied me with a g.c. and I have been busy trying to figure out which books to buy.
Donna, hope you're all settled in now. I think good food always makes any day special....not just birthdays! (Sandi Shilhanek 4:00pm September 1, 2008)
Hey Sandi,
A perfect b'day would involve receiving tons of money, but considering that's just a fantasy, I'll say it has to include no cooking/cleaning and some time w/o the hubby and girls. This year, I took the day off from work (hubby worked/girls in school), so this was the "me" time I want. I even got good weather (it was almost 70 - and I live in PA w/a b'day in January!) Snow is never what I wish for (even though we got 3 feet of it one year - ugh!)
Glad you had an almost perfect day:) (Amanda Reeder-erdly 10:21pm September 1, 2008)
This sounds great; I look forward in reading it.
Thanks. (Tracey Dent 4:51am October 14, 2009)
