Margaret Marr
Margaret grew up in a small town, in the mountains of
western North Carolina, under the watchful eyes of strict
parents. Since she wasn't allowed to date, spend time with
friends, or go places, she explored the world among the
pages of a book. The love of reading lead to the love of
writing. She has an unstoppable curiosity for the world
around her, especially the strange and unusual. You might
find her roaming among the headstones in an old cemetery,
exploring turn-of-the-century three-story houses, or
peeking into caves. She enjoys writing short fiction when she has time and has
been published extensively in addition to winning contests.
The Door to September placed third in AOL's Writers Club
Romance Contest. Spirit Swamp placed third in the Romance
and Beyond Contest, and The Guy with the George Clooney
Eyes placed third in AOL's Writers Club Haunted Heart
Contest. Twelve of her poems were included in an anthology called
OUT OF THE SHADOWS and two poems appeared in the anthology
SHADES OF EXPRESSION. No form of publication has slipped by Margaret. She has a
collection of short romances, THE MARLBORO MAN, published
in electronic format through eBooks2Go. She has three books published in paperback: a collection of
romances, KNIGHT OF VALENTINE; a romantic suspense
thriller, MEMORIES OF A SECRET FRIEND and a paranormal
romance MOON OF LITTLE WINTER. Treble Heart Books will soon
publish BETWEEN EARTH AND ETERNITY, a paranormal angel
romance. Other writings include anthology contributions, Oh, The
Noise! published in CRUMBS IN THE KEYBOARD; Angel in LET US
NOT FORGET A Tribute to America's 20th Century Veterans;
Take it And Fly in ROMANCING THE SOUL A Collection of Soul
mate Stories; Stop Wishing Your Life Away in FORGET ME
KNOTS FROM THE FRONT PORCH. (See below for more information
on these anthologies) When Margaret isn't writing, she likes to hike, swim, camp,
go fishing in the dark and spend time with her boyfriend
and two sons.
