Carol J. Perry is the Salem, Massachusetts, Halloween eve born, author of the Witch City Mystery series published by Kensington (Caught Dead Handed, Tails, You Lose, Look Both Ways, Murder Go Round, Grave Errors, It Takes a Coven and Bells, Spells, and Murders.) She's also written several novels and biographies for young people and a Florida travel guide.. Her non-fiction articles on travel and antiques appear in both national and regional publications. Carol is an active member of Mystery Writers of America (MWA) and Sisters in Crime (SinC.)

She lives in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with her husband Dan, one snooty cat and a sweet Black Lab.
