Maureen Stanton
Maureen Stanton is an award-winning nonfiction writer. Her essays and memoirs have been published in many literary journals, including Creative Nonfiction, Fourth Genre, American Literary Review, The Florida Review, and River Teeth, among other journals and anthologies. She has received the Iowa Review Prize, a Pushcart Prize, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and a Maine Arts Commission Individual Artist Fellowship. She earned her M.F.A. from Ohio State University, and currently teaches creative writing at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and divides her time between Missouri and Maine.
