As a long-time fan of this series, I was excited and intrigued by the thought of Darius getting a book since he’s been gone since the beginning of the series. But if there is an author who can bring back a character in a unique way, it’s J.R. Ward. Because of this, I had some pretty high hopes and expectations but I’m happy to say that I was enchanted by DARIUS.
Ward’s writing is still impeccable. Her unique descriptions shine through and she does such a wonderful job of getting into her characters' heads. It’s no wonder why so many readers love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Needless to say, I enjoyed every page of this book. DARIUS is definitely one of my favorite books of the year.
