MY ONE TRUE HIGHLANDER is the second book in the No Ordinary Hero series by Suzanne Enoch. It is a delightful and brilliant novel that can be read by itself.

Lord Maxton, Graeme, has one thing on his mind, to take care of his brothers and his tenants. He tries to avoid being in the the middle of war between his new English neighbors, the Duke of Lattimer and The Duke of Dunncraigh. When the Duke of Dunncraigh offers him reward with enough money to be set for life, his reckless younger brothers take it one step too far and kidnap Marjorie, Duke of Lattimer's young sister, on her way to see Lattimer. Graeme has to intervene. He cannot send the lady back, his brothers could face prison nor can he turn her to Duke of Dunncraig, she could be killed. And when a damsel this beautiful is dropped into your lap, it's hard to let her go.

Lady Marjorie Forrester is tired of London and the ton. So when she recieve a letter from her brother the Duke of Lattimer, she decides to surprise her brother and travel to Scotland without knowing his brother has enemies. Now she is kidnapped by three young boys with a handsome scoundrel brother. She should be terrified she's been captured by highland scoundrels, but it's hard to live in terror when your captor is a devilishly handsome and sinfully tempting as Graeme is. She cannot stay by his side forever nor she can live in London only with her proper companion and fortune-hunters. But Graeme has other plans for his beautiful prisoner, to seduce her and keep her forever.

MY ONE TRUE HIGHLANDER was simply fantastic and brilliant. Suzanne Enoch did a superb job writing this book with great and interesting characters. This is the story of enemies to lovers with a great storyline and an intriguing plot. The bantering between Marjorie and Graeme is amusing and witty that make their romance more entertaining. The secondary characters were fun, espcially Connell, the youngest brother. It was so easy to fall in love with characters and the story. This book was a page turner for me and I couldn't put it down.
